About Lorri
Lorri Coburn received her Master's in Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in 1981. She worked as a psychotherapist for 25 years before her ordination as an interfaith minister. She specializes in substance abuse, depression and anxiety, spirituality and relationships.
Lorri is the author of Breaking Free: How Forgiveness and A Course in Miracles Can Set You Free. Lorri presents at national conferences on A Course in Miracles, including The Weekend of Freedom Retreat, the North-Central ACIM Conference, International Forgiveness Week, and Song of the Morning Ranch. She has had a radio program on Awakening Together Radio for four years, every Wednesday at 9:30 am, EST. She has facilitated a study group on A Course in Miracles for four years and is known for her ability to clearly explain the complex ideas in ACIM. She is editing a book on A Course in Miracles with Jon Mundy titled ACIM And ..., which compares A Course in Miracles with multiple spiritual paths. Lorri is a regular contributor to Miracles Magazine, having written articles on quantum physics, psychotherapy, the law of attraction and Christian Science.
Lorri lives near Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is a volunteer with Arbor Hospice and has held officer positions with Washtenaw Toastmasters. She also volunteers in her local community library and charity resale shop.
